A little about me and how I ended up here
It started with friends. I kept finding myself behind a camera at casual shoots, talking people down from the ledge of self-consciousness and watching them relax into something that actually looked like them. At some point, it stopped being a favor and started being a calling.
Today I work with small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that are polished without feeling performed. My approach is pretty straightforward: good light, unhurried pacing, and honest direction that helps you move naturally instead of freezing up. I care less about recreating a pose I saw somewhere and more about finding the version of you that exists when nobody is making a big deal out of things.
Most clients come in a little nervous and leave surprised by how calm the whole thing felt. That tends to be the part they mention first — that the session didn't feel like a session. The second thing they mention is that the photos finally look like them, not a cleaned-up stranger in their clothes. That gap between what people expect and what they actually experience is, honestly, the thing I find most satisfying about this work.
