A Little About How I Got Here
It started with a favor. A friend needed headshots, hated having her picture taken, and trusted me enough to try. By the end of the session she was laughing, relaxed, and genuinely surprised by what she saw on the back of the camera. I did that a few more times, kept hearing the same reaction, and eventually turned it into a business.
Today I work with small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that actually look like them — not a stock photo version of themselves. My approach is pretty straightforward: good light, a low-key environment, and enough direction that you know what to do with your hands without feeling like you're posing for a school portrait. The dry humor helps, too.
Most of my clients come in a little skeptical and leave with images they genuinely want to use. That's the part I care about most. They tell me the session felt calm, which honestly is the whole goal — because the photos that come out of a relaxed room are always better than the ones taken in a tense one.
