A Little About Me
This whole thing started with friends. I kept finding myself behind a lens at informal shoots, talking people down from the ledge of self-consciousness and watching them relax into something real. Eventually it became clear that helping people feel at ease in front of a camera wasn't just a party trick — it was the work.
Today I photograph small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that are warm without being fussy, and polished without feeling borrowed from a stock photo library. My approach to posing is deliberate but low-key — I'd rather give you something to do with your hands than ask you to hold a smile. The result is a session that moves at a human pace, in good light, with the occasional dry remark to cut the tension.
Most clients come in expecting to feel awkward and leave a little surprised. They describe the experience as calm, and when the images land in their inbox, the response is usually some version of: that actually looks like me. That's the part I'm still chasing.
