A Little About the Person Behind the Camera
It started with friends. I kept noticing that the people closest to me had no good photos of themselves — not because they weren't photogenic, but because no one had ever made them feel at ease long enough to find out. I started shooting for them, and somewhere between the bad lighting jokes and the third cup of coffee, I realized this was the work I wanted to do.
These days, I focus on small business owners, creatives, and teams who need brand images that actually look like them — not a stock photo version of who they wish they were. My job on set is equal parts photographer and low-key director. I guide people through posing in a way that feels like a suggestion rather than a command, and the room stays relaxed because of it. Clean light, honest expressions, and a little patience go a long way.
What keeps people coming back — or sending their friends — is usually something they mention afterward: that the session felt calmer than they expected, and that they finally walked away with photos that felt like themselves.
